Volunteers are needed to assist with meal service and delivery for Catholic Charities, Diocese of Cleveland’s Christmas hot meals event at St. Augustine Hunger Center. Catholic Charities expects to prepare and distribute up to 15,000 meals for Christmas.
Meals will be distributed 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Christmas Day -- Dec. 25 – at St. Augustine Hunger Center, 1400 Howard Ave., Cleveland. In addition to serving those who visit the hunger center, Catholic Charities will be delivering meals to those who need them and providing about 15 community partners that support the homeless and homebound in surrounding counties. Deliveries will begin at 10 a.m. and will last until all meals are delivered.

Meal delivery requests will be accepted until noon on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24.
