Hundreds of faithful recently took to the streets of Cleveland demonstrating their belief in the Eucharist as the real presence of Jesus as part of a national Eucharistic Revival called for by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.
After attending the June 11 vigil Mass in the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, the faithful processed out of the cathedral where they were given bandanas with the diocesan revival logo: Gathered, Blessed, Broken, Shared, which reminds us of our Eucharistic identity as people of God whose lives take on their fullest meaning only when we give them away in sacrificial love.
