Ten lepers approached Jesus pleading to be healed by him. They said, “Jesus, Master! Have pity on us!”
Instead of healing them on the spot, Jesus sent them to the priests. It was only as they were going to the priests that they were healed.
Not all healings happen immediately. Sometimes the blessing of Jesus takes time to show itself in us.
Sadly, only one of the ten recognized that he had been healed. Perhaps the other nine were so downhearted at not being healed immediately that they did not notice the miracle that occurred later.
This might be a good time to give thanks to God for the blessings that come our way every day, especially those we don’t see right away.
Have a blessed week everyone.
