Catholic Charities, Diocese of Cleveland expects to prepare and distribute up to 10,000 meals during its upcoming annual Easter hot meals event at the Bishop William M. Cosgrove Center in Cleveland. Volunteers are needed to assist with meal delivery during the event.
On Easter – April 9 – meals will be distributed from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Bishop William M. Cosgrove Center at 1736 Superior Ave., Cleveland. In addition to serving those who visit the hunger center, Catholic Charities also will be delivering meals to those who need them and providing meals to approximately 15 community partners that support the homeless and homebound in surrounding communities.
Those deliveries will begin at 9:30 a.m. at Barons Arena, 5310 Hauserman Road, Cleveland, and will continue until all meals are delivered.
Event organizers said delivery drivers are the only volunteer need for this year’s Easter meal distribution. Those who are interested in volunteering should click here.
