The Office of Young Adult Ministry for the Diocese of Cleveland will present a pre-Holy Week Pilgrimage on April 1. Four churches in Lakewood will participate in the event.
Mike Hayes, director of Young Adult Ministry, said the walking pilgrimage will begin at 9:30 a.m. at St. Luke the Evangelist Parish, 1212 Bunts Road.
Participants will hear a brief history of each parish and there will be a five-minute reflection on the Passion of Christ. Each parish visit will conclude with prayer before heading to the next church.
The next stop will be Transfiguration Parish, 12608 Madison Ave. St. Clement Parish, 2022 Lincoln Ave. will be the third stop and the last parish on the pilgrimage will be St. James Parish, 17514 Detroit Ave.
The group will return to St. Luke’s for a free lunch.
There is no cost or registration; anyone interested in joining the pilgrimage should arrive at St. Luke’s prior to the start time, which will step off promptly at 9:30.
