The Catholic Diocese of Cleveland just released its video newscast for the first quarter of 2023.
The Northeast Ohio Catholic Report is produced in the diocesan TV studio located in the Cathedral Square Plaza offices and serves as a recap of some of the exciting events and activities that occurred throughout the diocese in the past few months.
In the latest episode, viewers learn how some dedicated sisters in the late 1950s helped spur modern-day end-of-life care in the region as well as meet a student-designed robot and see how some local elementary school students are traveling the globe on the airways.
This new edition also provides an update of the Keeping the Faith initiative, the new strategic plan for Catholic elementary school education that was released in January.
In addition to feature stories and updates on diocesan activities, the newscast contains some regularly recurring segments including “Shepherding with Gladness” that gives a video snapshot of some of the faces and places that Bishop Edward Malesic engages with at various liturgies, visits and events in the community.
