Watch your mailbox because the September/October issue of Northeast Ohio Catholic magazine, the official publication of the Diocese of Cleveland, will arrive soon.
This issue is filled with information and stories relating to the important human life issue that will be on the November ballot.
On the cover, Christy Ballor shares her inspiring and very personal story of how an abortion she had as a teenager led to a journey of forgiveness and her reception into the Catholic Church. She continues to advocate for life as a volunteer with Project Rachel, a Catholic healing program.
In a related story, Maureen Curley, a psychiatric nurse practitioner whose primary interests are treating and researching women’s health, talks about her work with Project Rachel and Rachel’s Vineyard and how the programs help with healing from abortion trauma. Curley also tells how she personally was helped by Project Rachel.
