“I am so pleased to have Patty join the diocese in this key role,” said Bishop Malesic. “Her extensive experience in all facets of human resources is very valuable and will be essential as she guides diocesan and parish staff throughout our eight counties.”
Mrs. Baszuk’s career spans more than 25 years in a variety of HR leadership roles. Most recently, she managed the full range of HR functions for Acuative Corporation, a New Jersey-based IT, telecommunications and network management firm with offices across the U.S. and staff around the globe. She led HR functions at a number of other large employers, including Cleveland State University, Greater Cleveland RTA and the OM Group. In addition, she teaches several HR-related courses at Cleveland State University.
“I am really looking forward to joining the Diocese of Cleveland,” said Mrs. Baszuk. “This role will enable me to bring my Catholic upbringing and values and my vast HR experience together to do very meaningful work.”
