Scott Embacher has been selected as the president/head of school of Ss. Robert & Wiliam Catholic School, LLC, effective July 1.
Embacher currently serves as the regional director of the University of Notre Dame’s two Akron area ACE Academies, St. Anthony of Padua and St. Augustine Catholic schools. He has an undergraduate degree in elementary education from John Carroll University, and graduate degrees in curriculum and instruction and educational administration from Boston College and Ursuline College, respectively.
Embacher began his professional career as a Catholic educator in Boston College’s Urban Catholic Teacher Corp in 2001, teaching in an inner-city Catholic school in Greater Boston. Upon returning to Northeastern Ohio, he joined the faculty/staff of St. Francis Catholic School in Cleveland in 2004 as a teacher and most recently as the president/principal from 2015-2021.
“I would like to express my sincere gratitude and deep excitement as I prepare to join Ss. Robert and William Catholic School. I am inspired by the strong tradition of faith, excellence and community that defines this exceptional school," Embacher said.

“From the first moment I met Scott, I sensed his passion and zeal for Catholic education and have every confidence that he will move the school forward to help form saints and scholars to know, love and serve Jesus Christ," said Father John Betters, Bishop Edward Malesic's liaison to the Keeping the Faith Strategic Plan for Catholic Elementary Education, pastor of Ss. Robert & William and St. John of the Cross parishes and interim Ss. Robert & William School president/head of school.

Robert & William Catholic School, LLC,” said Frank O’Linn, superintendent of Catholic schools for the Diocese of Cleveland.
Embacher lives in Solon with his wife and two children.
Ss. Robert & William and St. John of the Cross parishes formed the Ss. Robert & William Catholic School, LLC on July 1, 2024, serving as a new model of school governance for interparochial education in the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland. With a board of directors overseeing the school’s strategic vision, and a president/head of school managing the day-to-day school operations, Ss. Robert & William School serves 400 students in transitional kindergarten through grade 8, in addition to 75 students in their Early Learning Center for children from infancy to age 4.
