On this most special day of remembrance for the Jewish People, the Great Feast of Passover, I extend warm and sincere good wishes to the Jewish community of Northeast Ohio.
Passover is a time of thoughtful reflection and celebration, as you commemorate the exodus of the Jewish people from the bonds of slavery in Egypt to the freedom of the Promised Land. We celebrate with you the goodness of Almighty God as we look together to this season of hope and rebirth.
In the words of Pope Francis, “May the Almighty bless and accompany the journey of the beloved Jewish People, and may the Most High allow us to grow ever more in friendship and to be witnesses of peace and harmony.”
