What is a human life worth?
To the Pharisees, thirty pieces of silver was all that was needed to purchase the betrayal of Judas. Enough to silence the truth of the Messiah. Enough to set the process of Jesus’ crucifixion in motion. Thirty pieces of silver for Jesus!
What is Jesus worth to us?
Would we trade him for comfort? For approval? For security? For gain?
Before we answer, we must remember this: He thought your life was worth dying for.
