Watch the new edition of the quarterly Northeast Ohio Catholic Report for highlights from the ordinations of six new priests and four permanent deacons in May in the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist. The broadcast also offers an update on significant renovations taking place in the cathedral during the next several months.
In addition, the June 2026 edition showcases the diocesan Juneteenth celebration presented by the Office of Black Catholic Ministries. The event was hosted by St. Dominic Parish and attracted more than 500 people for a day of faith and fun.
The report closes with a preview of content featured in the July/August edition of the award-winning Northeast Ohio Catholic magazine, including the story of a priest, a detective and a dog named Apollo. The cover story examines how a safety forces chaplain helped a Cleveland police officer who lost his brother, also an officer, in the line of duty. With the Lord’s help, the detective and Apollo, his partner, now help other officers who are struggling.
