Aftercare Teacher (Part-Time)

Saint Rita School is seeking a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Aftercare Teacher to join our team and support preschool and early elementary-age children in a nurturing and engaging after-school program.
This part-time position is ideal for individuals who enjoy creating a safe, welcoming, and fun environment where children can learn, play, and thrive.

Location: Solon, Ohio
Position: Aftercare Teacher
Employment Type: Part-Time
Hours: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM – 6:00 PM (flexible)
Start Date: August 2026
Responsibilities
Supervise and engage children in play and structured activities.
Provide a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment.
Assist with snacks, cleanup, and daily transitions.
Communicate effectively with children, families, and fellow staff members.
Support the routines, expectations, and values of the school community.
Qualifications
Experience working with young children is preferred.
Warm, patient, dependable, and responsible demeanor.
Ability to positively manage groups of children with consistency and care.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Completion of VIRTUS Training and a successful background check are required.
