With the ongoing pandemic, the opportunity of participating at Mass at least spiritually through the use of technology becomes especially important for those who are unable to leave their homes.
The Diocese of Cleveland recognizes this need and is pleased to provide this information about accessing the celebration of Mass on commercial television, on radio, or on the internet via livestream or on-demand.
Join Bishop Malesic as he celebrates the 4:30pm Mass from the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist.
Mass will be livestreamed on the diocesan website and Facebook page at 10:30am on Christmas Day. This Mass will also be available on-demand following its completion.
Bishop Malesic celebrates the Christmas Day TV Mass, broadcast on channel 43 (WUAB) at 11am. Please check your local listings for channel information.
Mass is livestreamed daily, except Saturdays, from the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist at 12 Noon Monday through Friday. On Sundays, the Mass is livestreamed at 8 a.m. Once a Mass is livestreamed, it is available on-demand. The livestream is available HERE on our website and Facebook page.
Mass from the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist is available for viewing every Sunday morning at 10 a.m. on WUAB-TV, Channel 43, also known as the CW43. This is a digital TV broadcast and is available over-the-air without the need for cable TV.
This Mass is also available on demand on Saturday evenings after 4pm and through Sunday on the Diocese of Cleveland website's TV Mass page
Cox Communications cable subscribers can view the Mass at 11:30 a.m. Sunday on channel 45.
The Mass can be heard on the radio, at 4 p.m. Saturdays and 10:30 a.m. Sundays on AM 1260 The Rock. Also, radio station WINT-1330 AM airs the Mass at 9 a.m. each Sunday.
