Metro Catholic School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 4th & 5th Grade Math Teacher to join our faculty. We are looking for an educator who is committed to academic excellence, believes every student can succeed, and values the mission of Catholic education. The successful candidate will create an engaging, student-centered classroom that inspires students to build confidence, strengthen problem-solving skills, and develop a strong foundation in mathematics.
Plan and deliver engaging mathematics instruction for students in grades 4 and 5.
Create a positive, structured classroom environment that promotes academic excellence and student growth.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
Use assessment data to monitor progress and guide instructional decisions.
Build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
Collaborate with faculty to develop curriculum, share best practices, and support school initiatives.
Maintain accurate grades, records, and regular communication with families.
Participate in professional development and contribute to the mission and culture of the school.
Support the school's mission of educating the whole child—mind, body, and spirit.
Bachelor's degree or higher.
Respect for and commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education.
Strong belief that every student can achieve at high levels.
Excellent classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and families.
Successful completion of required background checks.
Experience teaching upper elementary mathematics.
Knowledge of effective instructional practices and data-driven teaching.
Proficiency with educational technology and digital learning tools.
Commitment to ongoing professional growth and continuous improvement.
Metro Catholic School offers a competitive salary based on experience and instructional effectiveness.
Early Career Teachers (0–3 years): Starting salary of $42,000 or higher, with opportunities to earn $50,000+ after three years.
Experienced Teachers: Competitive salary based on years of teaching and leadership experience, with compensation up to $73,140 for highly experienced educators.
Opportunities for advancement and salary increases every 3–5 years based on instructional excellence and mission alignment.
