Position Summary

St. Mary School is seeking a qualified candidate to instruct a Coding Elective for middle school students during the 2026–2027 school year.

This opportunity is designed to provide students in grades 6–8 with hands-on learning experiences in coding and technology. St. Mary School is well-equipped to support technology-focused instruction, with individual Chromebooks for every student and a strong assortment of hardware and educational equipment available for classroom use.

Course Details & Schedule

• Grade Levels: 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade

• Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays

• Time: 1:50 PM–2:30 PM

• Class Size: Approximately 20 students per class

Technology & Resources

St. Mary School provides resources to support hands-on technology learning, including:

• Individual Chromebook access for every student.

• A variety of hardware and educational equipment available for classroom instruction.

Candidate Qualifications

The school is seeking a candidate who is qualified to provide coding instruction to middle school students. Experience with coding, computer science, educational technology, or related instruction would be beneficial.

Position Requirements

• Ability to instruct students in grades 6–8.

• Ability to create an engaging, hands-on learning environment.

• Comfort working with student technology and classroom equipment.

• Ability to work within the Tuesday/Thursday schedule.

• Commitment to supporting student learning and engagement.
