Founded in 1850, Beaumont School is the oldest school in the Diocese of Cleveland and the oldest all-girls secondary school in Greater Cleveland. Inspired by the example of Saint Angela Merici, Beaumont is a Catholic college preparatory school in the Ursuline tradition dedicated to educating women for life, leadership, and service.

Beaumont School is seeking a dynamic, collaborative, and student-centered Math Teacher to join its Mathematics Department for the 2026–2027 school year. The successful candidate will be committed to academic excellence, foster an engaging classroom environment, and inspire students to develop strong mathematical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
• Teach five instructional blocks during the school's two-day A/B schedule, along with assigned supervisory duties.
• Planned course assignments may include Algebra, Honors Geometry, Precalculus, and Data Science.
• Deliver engaging instruction aligned with the Beaumont School mathematics curriculum.
• Collaborate with department colleagues to develop curriculum, assessments, and instructional strategies.
• Foster a classroom environment that promotes respect, engagement, and academic achievement.
• Utilize instructional technology to enhance teaching and learning.
• Communicate regularly with students, parents, counselors, tutors, and administrators regarding student progress.
• Maintain accurate grades and course information through the school's learning management system and gradebook.
• Provide additional academic support through tutoring, mentoring, or individualized instruction before or after school, as needed.
• Participate in department meetings, admissions events, outreach activities, and other school initiatives.
• Support the mission, values, and Catholic identity of Beaumont School.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
• Valid Ohio teaching license or eligibility to obtain licensure. A non-tax certificate will also be considered.
• Previous high school teaching experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, collaboration, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with instructional technology.
• Commitment to continuous professional growth.
• Successful completion of FBI/BCI background checks and VIRTUS® Protecting God's Children certification.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, and move throughout the school day.
• Ability to lift and carry instructional materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to use computers and instructional technology for extended periods.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of a classroom teaching environment with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Primarily works in a classroom and office environment.
• Occasional evening or weekend responsibilities, school events, meetings, and outreach activities.
• Some travel to prospective schools and external events may be required.
