Position: Part-time, with potential for full-time employment for the 2026–2027 school year.

Position Summary

St. Paul School is seeking a passionate, creative, and faith-filled Music Teacher to teach students in PreK–8. The ideal candidate will inspire students through music, encourage creativity and confidence, and support the school's Catholic mission by coordinating music for weekly school Mass.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging, age-appropriate music instruction for students in PreK–8.

• Teach music theory, vocal techniques, rhythm, and performance skills.

• Introduce students to a variety of musical styles and cultural traditions.

• Plan and coordinate music for weekly school Mass in collaboration with the Pastor and school administration.

• Prepare students for liturgical celebrations, Christmas and spring performances, and other school events.

• Encourage student participation in choir, cantoring, and group or solo performances.

• Integrate Catholic faith and Gospel values into music instruction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Music Education or a related field required.

• Valid Ohio teaching license preferred.

• Experience teaching elementary or middle school students.

• Ability to lead vocal groups; piano proficiency preferred.

• Familiarity with Catholic liturgy and traditions preferred.

• Strong classroom management, organizational, and communication skills.

• A collaborative, dependable, and student-centered approach.
