Position Summary

St. Benedict Catholic School is seeking dependable, caring individuals to serve as Substitute Teachers across all grade levels.

Substitute teachers help maintain a positive, supportive learning environment by following classroom lesson plans, assisting students, and ensuring that learning continues smoothly in the regular teacher’s absence.

Essential Responsibilities

Follow lesson plans and classroom instructions provided by the regular teacher.
Supervise students and maintain a safe, orderly, and positive classroom environment.
Support students with classroom activities, assignments, and learning tasks.
Encourage respectful behavior and help students remain engaged in learning.
Maintain classroom routines and follow school policies and procedures.
Communicate relevant classroom or student concerns to the appropriate school staff.

Qualifications and Requirements

Dependable, responsible, and punctual.
Enjoy working with children across a range of grade levels.
Able to follow lesson plans and classroom instructions.
Demonstrate patience, flexibility, and effective communication.

Compensation
