It’s almost time for the January issue of Northeast Ohio Catholic magazine.
The magazine should arrive in homes during early January, but there could be delivery delays caused by the backlog of mail at the post office because of the crush of holiday packages and mail.
The new issue will feature stories about how Catholic schools in the Diocese of Cleveland are adapting to ensure a quality, faith-filled education for students during the pandemic – whether students are learning in school or remotely. A special, four-page State of the Schools section is included as well as list of Catholic schools throughout the eight-county diocese.
Bishop Edward Malesic offers his thoughts on Catholic schools, reflecting on how they not only teach the faith, but live it, too.
The Foods 1 class at Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin School in Chardon competed in a version of the popular TV reality show “Chopped.” Members of the winning team share their experience and the favorite recipe.
Learn about Catholic Charities’ 2021 Annual Appeal and a special $1 million matching gift challenge to help raise funds for those in need, especially the hungry.
Renovations are underway at Saint Mary Seminary’s residence wing, thanks to the Heart of a Shepherd campaign, which is financing the major project. More details on the campaign and seminary project are outlined in the magazine.
