‘Spotlight on Schools’ shines on four National Blue Ribbon Schools

Four of the 19 public and private schools in Ohio that achieved the prestigious National Blue Ribbon School status this year – based on test scores, curriculum and culture – are Catholic elementary schools in the diocese.

The video shines the spotlight on:

• The Innovation Lab at St. Bernadette School in Westlake
• Lakewood Catholic Acy’s Science Lab and International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program
• The Incarnate Word Academy Tech Club’s Geek Squad in Parma Heights
• St. Sebastian School in Akron celebrating its differentiation practices and the help students receive from their four-legged, furry friend named Weller.
