Bishop Malesic requests prayers on death of local firefighter and injury of another

It is with a heavy heart that I join members of the North Royalton Fire Department and the Greater Cleveland community in mourning the loss of a firefighter Monday evening, and the serious injury of another, as they battled a house fire in Broadview Heights.

Please join me in praying for the fallen firefighter, for the healing of the injured firefighter, for their families and for their fellow firefighters. These brave men and women, along with all first responders, put their lives on the line every day, and we are so grateful to them for the sacrifices they make in service to us all.

May God bless and keep them close to his heart, may they know his love and peace, and feel the steadfast support of our community.
