Fighting war with faith: New Northeast Ohio Catholic magazine is on the way

Just in time for Veterans Day, Northeast Ohio Catholic magazine is sharing the story of Dr. Edward Horvath who answered God’s call and decided to return to military service in the Army Medical Reserve Corps as a physician at age 57.

In the magazine cover story and the video above, he talks about his service, including three deployments to Iraq, the impact it had on his life and his work as a mentor for young people.

Also in this issue, Margaret Armstead said she heard God’s call, discovered her faith and found a spiritual home at St. Malachi, now St. Patrick Parish with St. Malachi Oratory in Cleveland’s Ohio City neighborhood.
