CLE: Middle - Diocesan Middle School Conference

Saturday, February 6, 2027
10:30 am - 6:00 pm (doors open at 10am)
Center for Pastoral Leadership, Wickliffe

CLE: Middle is a one-day Catholic Youth Conference designed especially for students in 6th through 8th grade. Hosted in the heart of the Diocese of Cleveland, this powerful retreat-style experience invites middle schoolers to encounter Jesus in a way that is fun, prayerful, and unforgettable.

From meaningful moments of prayer to high-energy games and music, this day is created to reach young people right where they are and inspire them to go deeper. The conference will include Eucharistic Adoration, praise & worship, small group, games, and the Holy Mass, helping students understand that they are not the future of the Church—they are the Church right now.

CLE: Middle FAQs

Who Can Go?

CLE: Middle is a conference for middle school youth. All youth must be in 6th-8th grade during the 2025-2026 school year to attend as a youth participant with their adult chaperones.

How Do I Buy Tickets?

  • Youth MUST attend with a parish or school group; parents cannot buy tickets individually.
  • Youth ministers, campus ministers, and parish group leaders can buy tickets for their group on this website starting October 1.
  • Groups are limited to a maximum of 25 tickets.
  • You can purchase a block of tickets and assign names to them at a later date.
  • Online waivers for youth and chaperones are due January 5.
  • Tickets are nonrefundable.

What About Liability Forms?

Links to youth and chaperone waivers forms will be emailed to group leaders after purchasing tickets. You can easily send the link to parents and chaperones. Online waiver forms are due January 5. (That is the deadline for knowing the names of all attending!) We cannot accept late submissions for adult waivers as we need to verify safe-environment compliance.

Teen : Chaperone Ratio

Groups need to have 2 adults for the first 10 youth, and 1 adult for every 8 youth after that. E.g.:

  • 1-10 youth + 2 adults
  • 11-18 youth + 3 adults
  • 19-21 youth + 4 adults

Who Qualifies As a Chaperone?

Chaperones must be at least 21-years-old, and have completed all safe environment requirements for the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland.

Do Adults Need Tickets to Attend?

Yes. There will also be a waiver form for chaperones to complete.

How Much?

CLE: Middle is $30 per person, which also includes lunch and a snack.

The price increases to $45 for late ticket sales after December 1 (if not sold out).
