NCYC is a conference for high school youth. All youth must be in 9th-12th grade during the 2027-2028 school year to attend as a youth participant with their adult chaperones.
Chaperone to youth ratio is 1:6. Two adults for the first 1-10 youth and one more adult for every six additional youth. If male teens are attending, your group must have a male chaperone (cannot be a priest). If female teens are attending, your group must have a female chaperone.
Chaperones must be age 21 or older, completed Virtus Training and compliance with the diocesan Protecting God’s Children policy, and comply with NCYC adult code of conduct.
Teen : Chaperone Ratio
Teens MUST attend with a parish or school group and cannot buy tickets individually.
Youth ministers, campus ministers, and parish group leaders can buy tickets for their group on this website starting November 2, 2026. (Click on the BUY TICKETS button above.) You can purchase a block of tickets and assign names to them at a later date. (You will need to know who is going by August.)
The deposit can be paid by credit card or check. You will be sent an invoice for the remaining balance due September 1. Tickets are nonrefundable.
Have your parent/guardian email Francine Costantini and we will work to find you a group with whom you can attend.
NCYC will be in Indianapolis, Indiana. General Sessions are in Lucas Oil Stadium, and breakout sessions and other exhibits are in the adjacent Indy Convention Center. Downtown Indy is very pedestrian-friendly with lots of restaurants and much of downtown is connected with skywalks.
Includes motor coach transportation to and from Indianapolis, NCYC Conference Fee, and lodging (quad room for teens; double for adults). Most meals are not included. All diocesan pilgrims will stay in one hotel. Note: All pilgrims must stay in the hotel with our Diocesan Group. No special accommodations (i.e. cousins live in Indy).
It is suggested that teens bring at least $200 in spending money. Most meals are not provided in your package. Participants will eat at downtown Indy restaurants, Mall food court, Convention Center vendors, or food trucks. Many exhibitors will be selling their wares at NCYC including Catholic items, clothes, books, jewelry, etc. Teens may choose to bring souvenir money. Note: Tipping of hotel housekeepers is also expected (each person giving $2/day for housekeeping is appreciated).
Yes! There are scholarships available from both the diocese and the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry (NFCYM).
