Position Summary:
Saint Mary Parish is seeking a faith-filled, experienced, and enthusiastic Preschool Director to lead the Preschool, an early childhood education program. The Preschool serves children ages 3 to 5 in a nurturing environment rooted in Catholic values.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operation and schedule of the preschool in accordance with diocesan, state, and licensing guidelines.
- Recruit, lead, and support teaching staff through coaching, evaluation, and professional development – ensuring adherence to diocesan safe environment standards.
- Manage enrollment, budgeting, staff schedules, and compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements. This includes maintaining all student and staff files.
- Ensure a developmentally appropriate and faith-integrated curriculum is provided.
- Foster positive relationships with teaching staff, parents, and children through communication, conferences, and community-building events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in early childhood education, including administrative or leadership roles.
- Organized and detail-oriented, especially regarding licensing and compliance with all state licensing regulations.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, as well as strong organizational skills and work ethic compatible with the culture of a Roman Catholic parish.
- Strong technology skills.
- Ability to lead with professionalism, warmth, and integrity.
- Ability to adapt effectively to the changing needs and challenges of students and staff.
- A practicing Roman Catholic who is in full communion with the Church.

Salary Range: $41,000 - $48,000
