8 men to be ordained Permanent Deacons: May 3rd at Cathedral

Eight men from Berea, Concord, Lakewood, Madison, Mentor, Richmond Heights, South Euclid and Wadsworth will be ordained Permanent Deacons during a Mass on Saturday, May 3, 2008, 10:00 a.m. at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, E. 9th & Superior Avenue, Cleveland by the Most Reverend Richard G. Lennon, Diocese of Cleveland.

VATICAN CITY - (CNS) - March 31, 2008 - A Vatican official said that, for the first time, the world's Muslim population is greater than the number of Catholics.Msgr. Vittorio Formenti, who heads the Vatican's statistics office, said the shift was the result of larger families among Muslims.
