Facilities Manager: St. Colette

Saint Colette Catholic Church, a vibrant, family-centered parish of 2,100 families in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Cleveland, Ohio, seeks a dedicated, full-time, Facilities Manager to serve as chief steward of our Building & Grounds resources. The Building & Grounds Team is responsible for providing comprehensive facilities support and preventative maintenance to all campus buildings, equipment, and our 22-acre campus.

This position serves a unique, two-fold function – lead custodian and also administrator of all facility needs. Major Responsibilities/Activities: Oversee setups and takedowns for Parish functions and transportation of items around campus. Manage relationships with current parish vendors and contractors, coordinating work as necessary Maintain, service, clean, and properly store equipment. Participate in minor construction and remodeling projects. Assist with the assembly and relocation of furniture and equipment. Safely operate landscaping and snow removal power equipment. Provide appropriate security measures, including locking and unlocking functions. Supervise other members of the Building & Grounds team, including college workers. Other related assignments as required to support the parish and its various ministries. Skills and Requirements: This position requires availability for a 40-hour work week with flexible start/stop time. Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry. Competent and safe use of hand power tools. Intermediate level computer skills and ability to utilize word processing and email systems. Must be able to lift 75 pounds and push or pull heavy loads or carts. Work in various positions indoors and outdoors for several hours year-round. Must be an ethical, good communicator, and self-starter. Ability to collaborate with the Parish Staff, ministries, and volunteers. Valid Ohio Driver’s license required. Must be insurable by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Cleveland, OH. The responsibilities listed above are representative of the position but are not all inclusive. Pay: This is a salaried position $40,000 - $50,000 with benefits, through the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland.
