Location: Wickliffe, Ohio Employment Type: Full-Time Start Date: 2026-2027 Academic Year Position Overview The Lake County Catholic School Network is seeking a joyful, dedicated, and faith-filled educator to join our primary elementary team. We are looking for a teacher who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about nurturing the whole child intellectually, socially, and spiritually. The ideal candidate will create a classroom culture rooted in the Gospel values while implementing a rigorous, standards-based curriculum.
Key Responsibilities Faith Leadership: Integrate Catholic values and teachings into the daily curriculum; lead students in daily prayer and liturgical participation. Instructional
Excellence: Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in Literacy, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.
Differentiated Learning: Utilize assessment data to tailor instruction for a diverse range of learners, ensuring every child is supported and challenged.
Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, organized, and positive learning environment.
Community Engagement: Communicate regularly and professionally with parents; participate in school-wide events, faculty meetings, and professional development.
Qualifications & Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education. Licensure: Valid Ohio Department of Education (ODE) Teaching License (PreK-3 or K-8) or ability to obtain one. Faith: (Not required, but preferred)Practicing Catholic in good standing with a commitment to the mission of Catholic education.
Clearances: Must pass FBI/BCI background checks and complete the Virtus "Protecting God’s Children" training.
Skills: Proficiency in classroom technology (SmartBoards, iPads, Google Classroom) and a strong foundation in early literacy instruction.
